ABOUT

CSA News magazine is published by the American Society of Agronomy (ASA), Crop Science Society of America (CSSA), and Soil Science Society of America (SSSA). Its purpose is to provide news and information for members of ASA, CSSA, and SSSA and others who have an interest in the work of our Societies and members. Our members are scientists, educators, and practitioners who develop, disseminate, and apply scientific solutions to feed and sustain the world, improve the human condition, and protect the planet.

CSA News features cutting-edge science on range of topics such related to agriculture, plant breeding and crop production/improvement for agronomic, turfgrass, and forage crops to produce feed, fiber, food, fuel, and recreation; climate; the environment; conservation; forestry; ecosystem sustainability; waste management; and more. The magazine also features news and perspectives, careers and education, and profiles and activities of our members.
