The Joint Working Group of the Soil Science Society of America and the Soil Science Society of China is pleased to announce the scientific webinars jointly sponsored by the two societies! Cross-cultural and international scientific cooperation is essential as we face global issues of climate change, food security, water security, and environmental restoration. Dr. Maria Lucia Silveira, Professor of Soil Science at the University of Florida. Her areas of expertise include grassland biogeochemistry, nutrient management and water quality, soil carbon sequestration, and greenhouse gas emissions. Her topic was Managing Agroecosystems to Improve Climate Resilience. Dr. Mauricio Roberto Cherubin, Professor of Soil Health and Management at the University of São Paulo. His areas of expertise include geostatistical analysis, soil fertility, and nutrient management. His topic was Soil Health: The Foundation for a More Productive and Resilient Agriculture.
